Discovery Day Open House is planned at Simon’s Rock
GREAT BARRINGTON, MA – Bard College at Simon’s Rock is holding the first Discovery Day of the academic year on Monday, Nov. 12. Discovery Day is a comprehensive introduction to the college.
The Discovery Day starts at 9:30 a.m. in Blodgett House, and includes a welcome reception and brunch, an opportunity to meet the deans, attend sample classes, interviews and tours. Families are given the opportunity to hear about the academic and residential programs and learn about financial aid.

Simon’s Rock was founded by Elizabeth Blodgett Hall in 1966. In 1979 it became part of Bard College (established in 1860), which is located 50 miles away, in Annandale-on-Hudson, New York.
