Pianist Anne Chamberlain to give solo concert at Simon’s Rock

Anne ChamberlainGREAT BARRINGTON, MA –- Pianist Anne Chamberlain will give a concert on Saturday, January 26 at 8 p.m. at Bard College at Simon’s Rock.  The concert, to be held in the Daniel Arts Center, will be free and open to the public.

Chamberlain’s program includes Brahms’ “Fantasien” Op. 116, Schoenberg’s “Drei Klavierstucke” Op 11, Debussy’s Four “Etudes’ from Book II, Larry Wallach’s “So Much Depends Upon Distance (1999), and Louise Talma’s “Textures” (1977).

Anne Chamberlain has performed extensively as soloist and chamber musician throughout the United States and Europe. Trained at Oberlin Conservatory and Juilliard School of Music, she has taught piano at Simon’s Rock for over 15 years.
