Root Certificate

This certificate identifies the Simon's Rock email server when you connect via SSL. You can install this file on your computer to eliminate mail program complaints about an untrusted server.

The certificate file is at http://simons-rock.edu/its/simons-rock.crt

Installing the Certificate in OS-X

Save the above file (with Firefox, control-click or right-click the link and select "Save link as..."). Double-click the downloaded "simons-rock.crt" file to open it with Apple's "Keychain Access" utility. You will be prompted to install the certificate. With OS X 10.4, select the "X509 Anchors" keychain. For OS X 10.5 and later, select the "System" keychain. You may be prompted for your Mac password to complete the installation.

Installing the Certificate in Windows

Save the above file (with Firefox, right-click the link and select "Save link as..."). Double-click the downloaded "simons-rock.crt" file to open it with Microsoft's "Certificate" utility. Click the "Install Certificate..." button, and then click "Next >" as needed to complete the installation.
