Hamilton’s work focuses on the architectural details and the very human experience of clothing.  This collection of her work will transform the gallery into a dream environment of familiar clothing shapes translated into crumpled wax paper and translucent sailcloth.  These garment pieces range in scale from human to room size.

Kate Hamilton is a sculptor, costumer and designer who lives and works in New Paltz, NY.  Currently, she is designing a garment set for ‘La Voix Humaine’, a telephonic opera, to be staged in Zurich and NY.
