Jazz Ensemble

Directed by faculty member John Myers, this concert will include the premier of Myers’ piece  "Song for the Earth," featuring junior Alec Schmidt on didgeridoo, an instrument originally played by indigenous Australians. The concert will also include special arrangements of pieces by Django Reinhardt and Stevie Wonder, and jazz standards in a variety of styles.
