Health Services

Our mission is to enhance the academic environment of the college by making quality medical services available to students. Our staff of experienced nurses, nurse practitioner, and doctors is available to help students maintain optimum health while attending Simon's Rock. We offer support and education to students, allowing them to transition from living at home to living apart from family and helping them to access healthcare for themselves.

Feeling flu-ish?

You must be seen by Health Services during business hours or speak with a nurse on call (reachable through security, x7291 from campus phones, or (413) 528.7391). If you have a fever, you’ll be added to the list of students excused from classes due to illness. You’ll be asked to stay in your room, and Dining Services will provide you with boxed meals that you can have a friend, roommate or hall-mate pick up.

Once you have been-fever-free for 24 hours, you will be allowed to resume classes. Please limit other activities until you’re fully recovered.

Please remember to cover your cough and wash hands frequently to prevent the spread of infection. Visit www.flu.gov for details on flu prevention and treatment.
