The Bard College at Simon’s Rock Security Department is committed to the promotion of personal and community safety. In addition to responding to emergency and safety concerns, the Security Department monitors the use of all campus buildings and grounds, enforces motor vehicle regulations, and monitors and facilitates building access. The Security Department also responds to and investigates reported incidents and policy violations. The Security Department is open for these services 24 hours a day, year round. The office is located in the Livingston Student Union building.

The Security Department plays a formative role in the college community. We are proud of the strong relationship we have with our students, faculty and staff. Only with the confidence, trust and involvement of the entire campus community can the Security Department support Bard College at Simon’s Rock as it works to remain the safe and unique place that it is.
