Wendie Malick and Dan Lauria appear in The Guys at Simon's Rock College of Bard to Benefit the Great Barrington Fire Department
Great Barrington, MA --The new Berkshire Theater Lab, along with Simon's Rock College of Bard, presents a performance of the play, The Guys, by Ann Nelson, about a journalist’s interview with a New York City fire captain after 9/11, on Friday, July 6th at 7 pm at the Daniel Arts Center at Simon’s Rock. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Great Barrington Fire Department. This is the Berkshire Theater Lab’s inaugural event and will star Wendie Malick (Just Shoot Me) and Dan Lauria (The Wonder Years) and will be directed by Lab member Joe Cacaci.
Tickets prices for the event are $25 for general admission and $50 for VIP admission, which includes a reception with the actors following the event. Tickets can be purchased at Guido’s Marketplace and Domaney’s Liquors in Great Barrington, The Corner Market in Housatonic, and from members of the Great Barrington Fire Department.
The Berkshire Theater Lab is a professional non-profit theater organization dedicated to promoting the development and production of new plays. The Lab will operate in the summer at The Daniel Arts Center on the campus of Simon's Rock College of Bard and will feature readings, workshops and full productions of new plays by some of the country’s most talented playwrights. Members of The Berkshire Theater lab include Karen Allen, Karen Beaumont, Tom Bloom, Joe Cacaci, Jim Frangione, Dan Lauria, Elissa Myers, Aimee Michel and Brian Smiar.
