Robert L. Snyder
Expertise: applied mathematics
Dr. Snyder’s areas of interest include geometry and applied mathematics, and he has delivered a paper, “Vector Invariants of Algebraic Groups,” before the Mathematical Association of America. Dr. Snyder has also worked in the actuarial department of a major insurance company and is an associate of the Society of Actuaries. Dr. Snyder taught at Georgia Institute of Technology, Johns Hopkins University, and West Chester State College. In 1995-96, during his sabbatical, he was a visiting scholar at the Cornell University Mathematics Department. BS, Georgia Institute of Technology; MA, PhD, Johns Hopkins University.
