- Bard College at Simon’s Rock was profiled at Inside Higher Ed in a feature that highlighted the College’s role in creating the National Consortium of Early College Programs. March, 2011.
- Professor Peter Filkins’s translation of Panorama, by German language Czech author H.G. Adler, was reviewed in the New York Times and the San Francisco Chronicle. January, 2011.

In September, 2010, The Washington Monthly released its annual college guide, ranking Bard College at Simon’s Rock number one in the nation among Baccalaureate Colleges. The Washington Monthly’s guide measures how well colleges and universities fulfill their public mission.
