The Hudson Daily Freeman caught up with alumnus Robert Bick '93 about his Fulbright scholarship to research the Dutch West India Company in the Netherlands. Bick is currently pursuing his doctorate in history from Princeton University and is also a graduate of the London School of Economics and The University of Chicago.

Simon's Rock alumna and board member Loren Alikhan '98 appeared in the London Times law blog for her work as a Temple Bar Scholar. The scholars are regarded as the best U.S. lawyers of their generation and are guests in the United Kingdom. The Temple Bar Foundation was created in 1991 by Lord Denning and former U.S. Chief Justice Warren Burger to strengthen ties between the English and American professions. Alikhan currently clerks for the Solicitor General of the U.S. Department of Justice.
A publication for The Connecticut Association for the Gifted profiled first-year student Lauren Dahlin and her decision to attend Simon's Rock. In addition to speaking about the numerous gifted and talented programs she participated in before entering Simon's Rock, Lauren cites engaging faculty, small class size, and a close relationship with her academic advisor as key attributes to thriving in her first semester.
