About the Office of Communications

The Office of Communications is the primary communications arm of Bard College at Simon’s Rock. We communicate news, information, and ideas relevant to our institution, our educational partners, and our unique position in higher education to a wide range of external audiences.

Bard College at Simon’s Rock is the nation’s only college designed expressly to educate bright, highly motivated students of high school age in the liberal arts and sciences. Founded in 1966 by Elizabeth Hall, Simon’s Rock joined the Bard College system in 1979. It maintains its own campus in Great Barrington, Massachusetts (the heart of the culture-rich Berkshires), and unique identity as a supportive intellectual home for early college students. Bard College at Simon’s Rock enrolls approximately 400 full-time students, and grants both Associate of Arts and Bachelor of Arts degrees in more than 40 academic concentrations.
