Renewing DHCP Lease Mac OS 10.4(.7)

  1. Open System Preferences from the Apple Menu
  2. Click on the grey Network icon
  3. Select the hardware you are using to connect to the internet in the Show: menu (for a wired connection, select Built-in Ethernet; for a wireless connection using Airport, select Airport)
  4. Make sure the tab labeled TCP/IP is selected, and click on the Renew DHCP Lease button.
