Enabling DHCP MacOS 10.4(.7)

  • In the (apple) menu select System Preferences
  • Click on the grey Network icon
  •  From the drop-down menu labeled Show: select Built-in Ethernet for wired connections or Airport for wireless connections
  •  Make sure the tab labeled TCP/IP is selected
  • In the drop-down menu labeled Configure IPV4 select Using DHCP
