Anne O'Dwyer is Dean of Academic Affairs at Simon's Rock, and Associate Professor of Psychology. Her fields of expertise are social and political psychology, her research spanning road rage, the self in interpersonal conflict, and intergroup conflict. Her most recent work considers "the burden of combat," addressing cognitive dissonance issues in veterans of the Iraq War. She has been published in the British Journal of Psychology and the Journal of Applied Psychology, among other venues. She has worked in the spheres of counseling and rehabilitation, and served in critical leadership roles in professional psychology associations.
