Event Details

The Simon's Rock Chamber orchestra will play Sinfonia #5 in C-major G505 by Luigi Boccherini, and Romanze and Scherzo for String Orchestra by Sergej Rachmaninov. Together with the Simon's Rock Chorus they will perform Franz Schubert's Mass in G-major, D.167.

Vocal soloists in the Schubert piece include sopranos Sarah Conner and Stephanie Waldo, and Nash Rochman and Chris St. Claire, basses. The choir will also be performing some short selections by J.S. Bach or inspired by Bach, including a new piece written in a jazz style by student composer Nash Rochman.
