On 12 March, we are hosting U Ba Win, who will be giving a lecture and discussion on the history of Simon's Rock and BHSEC. Ba Win serves as Vice President of Early College Policies and Programs for the Bard College system, which includes us here at Simon's Rock. A native of Burma, U Ba Win, along with his wife Judith Win, Director of Counseling Services here, joined the community in 1979. Since that time, they have both been an absolutely integral part of Simon's Rock, including Ba Win's service as Dean of Students, Provost, and Dean of the College. We are absolutely honored to have him here, and it should be a great talk. He will be speaking at 1800 (6 PM) in the Blodgett Oak Room.
