Please join Simon's Rock staff member LEE ROGERS at a reception to celebrate his photography exhibition at the Atrium Gallery (Alumni Library), this Thursday, April 30th from 4-6pm.
Lee's work explores the contrast of constantly moving viewers against the landscape of static objects within a museum setting. Lee has used the art and architecture of famous institutions as his back drop, such as the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Guggenheim Museum, and MASS MOCA, to shift our focus away from the iconic architecture and art works and view them in relation to the one observing or existing in that particular space.
