Junior Fellows Speakers Series: June Nash

"From the Western Highlands of Guatemala to the Berkshire Hills of Massachusetts: An Anthropological Odyssey"

Faculty member at the City University of New York’s Graduate Center, June Nash visits campus as part of the continuing Junior Fellows speaker series. Nash’s work spans 50 years of anthropology and reflects important transformations in geopolitics, economic globalization, anthropological theory, and the people and societies studied by anthropologist.  The College’s Junior Fellows program—conceived in the legacy of social scientist and activist W.E.B. DuBois—is host to a year-long lecture series featuring multidisciplinary work from scholars engaging in social scientific inquiry.
