On Saturday Dec. 13 at 8 PM, Simon's Rock Jazz Ensemble and Jazz Improvisation Workshop will present a Winter Concert at the McConnell Theater, Daniel Arts Center.  Directed by faculty member John Myers, this concert will include the premier of an original piece by John Myers and John Snyder, "Emergence," featuring senior Alec Schmidt on digeridoo, as well as special arrangements of pieces by Eddie Palmieri and Duke Ellington, and exciting jazz standards and improvisation in a variety of styles! The concert will include guest artists Bill Dunbar, voice and Bill St. Clair, trombone.
