Ultimate Fitness
This class incorporates elements of both cardiovascular activity and functional strength exercises - utilizing your entire body! Be prepared for both the traditional and not so traditional by using many forms of resistance, and occasionally going outdoors.

Breath & Stretch
Relax, de-stress and be time efficient all at the same time! Breath and Stretch will focus on your breath and deep breathing as a means to maximize relaxation. Stretch your body through gentle yoga positions and movements to lengthen your muscles and relieve tension. Its only a half-hour. Perfect for your lunch break!

Do you know your "ultimate fitness"? You should! Check out this new class which will keep you moving, push you, test your strength and endurance and make you work toward your "Ultimate Fitness"! Be prepared for both the traditional and not so traditional by using many forms of resistance and even heading outside sometimes for the perfect start to a Spring Saturday! Beginners welcome!

NEW! Sports Conditioning: Age 16 & up
Do you play a summer sport such as tennis, golf or cycling? Make the 2011 season your best performance yet! Increase your strength, stamina and power! Develop more speed and precision! Learn how to recover from sports related injuries and how to prevent them in the future. Uncover muscle weakness and imbalances and then work to correct them. You will getall this and more in our 6 week sports conditioning class. This class will be set up in a trilogy with classes focusing on Fall and then Winter sports offered later in the year.

Cardio Fusion
This class mixes up many styles of cardiovascular exercise, including low impact aerobics, step aerobics, dance, circuits, and interval training. Be prepared to get your heart rate up and work hard, as we sweat our way through exercises targeted to burn fat, increase strength, and improve balance and stability. Most of all, be prepared to have fun! Perfect for all levels.

Chair Yoga
This class is a modified series of traditional poses that focus on correct biomechanics to increase vitality, flexibility and strength. This is a great class for someone who has never tried yoga before, has concerns about injury, or would prefer the comfort of using chairs and standing poses.

Fast Feet
Fast Feet is a running group for the beginner runner all the way through advanced. The group meets four times each week for a variety of different runs and workouts. We work on short and long distance runs, hill training, speed training and even do some track workouts. Through the Spring, Summer and Fall, Fast Feet participates in several local races as a team. For 2012, we will be expanding our racing schedule to include some longer distance races as well as some outside of Berkshire County. During the season, we are covering topics essential to running success such as proper form, effective breathing, increasing your endurance, building mileage, injury prevention, and proper nutrition. Fast Feet – Beginner’s Program
This program includes: - two, 45 minute running sessions each week - a Specialized Training Program - a Training/Progression Log - a “Fast Feet” T-Shirt for the 5K race. There will be a race registration fee to be paid separately- (typically $15-$20.)

Kinesoma Movement
This class is based in contemporary dance technique, with a strong emphasis on learning and self-awareness in movement. This class is great for learning dance technique and principles, and for becoming more fit and coordinated in your Whole Self. Athletes & Performing Artists are strongly encouraged to attend this dynamic & unique approach to exploring movement.

Pilates
This is an introductory class for beginners. It is also for individuals with conditions such as chronic pain, osteoporosis and pregnancy who have their doctor’s clearance to exercise. The focus is on exercises that stretch and strengthen the muscles in a deep way, particularly the abdominals. Please speak to the instructor before class if you have concerns about whether Pilates is suitable for you.

Pilates / Yoga Combo
An intermediate level class combining traditional Yoga poses with core strengthening and toning Pilates exercises. Some of the benefits of a Yoga / Pilates combo class include increased core strength and stability, improved posture and mechanical alignment, improved breathing, stamina and circulation and increased mind/body connection

Sweat N Sculpt
This class will combine low impact aerobics for half of class and then finish up with total body resistance training. A great class to work up a sweat and burn some major calories! Perfect for all fitness levels!

Slow Active Stretch
This class will stretch and lengthen your muscles from head to toe while you use slow movements to get your body loose and limber. Movements and postures will be held only briefly. Perfect for the end of the day relaxation.

Tai Chi/Qui Gong
Experience how the unconscious expresses itself through the body, and learn how to more fully relax and move effortlessly through self-message, breathing, and meditation.

Active Yoga Flow
This is a yoga flow class geared toward beginners and intermediates, which focuses on the spinal wave movement sequences of Kali Ray Tri Yoga with the addition of the peaceful flow and conscious thought of Iyengar.

Gentle Yoga
This class is designed to give the beginner a good foundation by focusing on the basics of breathing, flexibility, and relaxation. It is a very relaxing class for intermediate and advanced participants.

Hatha Yoga with Mystic Meditation
Gentle yoga combining postures, deep relaxation, breathing and meditation. You will be holding postures and feeling sensations that will bring together mind, body and spirit.

Intermediate Kali Ray Yoga
The next level of Kali Ray, this class builds upon the fundamental postures and sequences while challenging your body.

Introductory Iyengar Yoga
A beginner to intermediate level class focusing on the gentle flow and conscious thought of Iyengar Yoga. Basic movements and postures will be emphasized.

Moving Grace
Rock your hips, stomp your feet, dance with an attitude and move gracefully to the up beat of world and new age music. Moves are simple and fun as you dance freestyle. Some abdominal exercises and yoga stretches will be included.

Slow Vinyasa Flow Yoga
Vinyasa yoga is moving with breath. The class will be breath oriented yoga with a slow flow to increase strength and flexibility. Beginner to intermediate level.

Yoga On the Ball
A beginner/intermediate level class combining traditional yoga poses with work on the stability ball to increase range of motion, stretching, and core strengthening.

Yoga Flow
An introduction to the posture and breathing style of Hatha yoga. This is a great class for newcomers to yoga. Try a sun salutation and see how good you feel.

Senior Strength Training -- Age: 60 & up
This class will instruct older adults in the basic techniques of strength training through Nautilus Machines, free weights and functional equipment such as medicine and stability balls, bands and tubing and balance work. Emphasis will be placed upon designing a program that will enhance the functioning and quality of life as one ages by incorporating safe and effective exercises to train the whole body as a unit, increase muscular endurance and range of movement. All levels welcome and no experience is required. 5 classes with one make-up class that becomes a bonus class if you make all 6.

In just 5 weeks a personal trainer, through a “hands-on” approach, will teach you how to safely design your own personal training program. All abilities are invited. 5 classes with one makeup class that becomes a bonus class if you make all 6.
