Anne Legêne performs mostly chamber music in the Berkshires and Columbia County with many of the region's fine musicians, and often, as today, with her husband, pianist and harpsichordist Larry Wallach. She specializes in music from the baroque era which she plays on gut strings with a baroque bow.  She was a member of the baroque orchestra "Foundling" in Providence, RI. She is currently also studying the viola da gamba with Lucy Bardo and Jane Hershey. As a viol player she is a member of "Les Inégales", a trio with Christine Gevert, harpsichord, and Rodrigo Tarrazza, baroque flute. In the summer she teaches at the Early Music Week at World Fellowship Center near Conway, NH.
