Ronald Gorevic

Ronald Gorevic was born in London, and has had an active career as both violinist and violist.  Having performed throughout the United States and Europe, he has drawn enthusiastic reviews from London to New York to Cleveland.  Among his many credfits are recordings of the complete Schumann violin sonatas, and frequent performances of the complete Brahms violin and viola sonatas.

As an experienced violist with first the Rowe, and then the Chester and Laurentian string quartets, Mr. Gorevic has toured extensively in the United States, Europe, Asia and Australia.  His recitals and quartet performances have been broadcast live on National Public Radio and he has also recorded for the Koch international Classics label.

Mr. Gorevic is currently principal viola in the Springfield and Greenwich Symphonies, and violist in the Prometheus Piano Quartet.  He is a visiting professor at Smith College, and on the faculty of the Greenwood Chamber Music Camp and the Deerfield Academy.  With the Prometheus Piano Quartet, he has performed at Lincoln Center on the Great Performers Series and has been the featured soloist with both the Springfield and Greenwich Symphonies and the Berkshire Bach Society.
