Visual artist, poet, and author John Lawson will be on campus as a visiting artist and exhibitor this February and March.
Live Jazz Opening Reception for his exhibition "Visual Syncopation" will take place on March 1st from 5:00 - 7:00pm at the Hillman-Jackson Gallery in the Daniel Arts Center.
Included in this exhibition are portraits in John's signature style of beaded work and assemblage, inspired by the OneBeat program http://www.1beat.org/. A visiting OneBeat artist will speak at the opening.
