The college has been advised by Great Barrington Emergency Services of a large fire in nearby Columbia County, NY. The fire has created a hazardous plume of smoke which may contain carcinogens and could cause severe respiratory problems. We have been asked to close all windows and shut off air handling units that bring outside air into the building. Physical Plant has taken care of the building systems.
