Mary B. Marcy came to Bard College at Simon's Rock in May, 2004. Prior to her appointment at Simon's Rock she was the director of a national, grant-funded project exploring the issues of cost and quality in American higher education, and served as dean of university relations and planning at Antioch University/Seattle. She has published widely on issues of cost, accountability, diversity, and leadership in higher education. In addition to her position as provost, Dr. Marcy is a vice president at Bard College and is on the teaching faculty at Simon’s Rock.
