Simon's Rock Alumni Trip to Peru

June 15-23, 2013 (with optional prequel June 12-15)

Where the Earth Meets Stars: Sacred Landscape atop the Peruvian Andes
As offered by OCaptain Tours and led by Mark Vecchio

Have you ever dreamed of visiting one of the wonders of the early world, with other Simon’s Rock alumni, guided by an expert and Simon’s Rock professor?

Machu_Picchu.jpgIn June 2013, OCaptain Tours (D.B.A. The Conscious Learner) is offering a trip for Simon’s Rock alumni to explore Machu Picchu, “The Lost City of the Incas,” with expert guide and former Simon’s Rock professor Mark Vecchio. Since 1996, Mark has organized and led interdisciplinary study abroad tours for Simon’s Rock students that focus on the ancient world, and play with ways of perceiving and experiencing that enrich appreciation, wonder, meaning and knowledge. This year, Mark’s company is offering a similar trip designed just for Simon’s Rock alumni.
