SBYC is looking for on intern with an interest in coalition building, substance abuse prevention and/or public health. Prior experience in either of these areas is not required. The position is for 5 hours per week (either all in one day or in 2.5 hour blocks of time 2 days per week).

Candidates should be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, be willing/able to handle administrative tasks (photocopying, faxing, etc), take direction well and ask questions when unsure about a given task. Individuals who are good at building/maintaining relationships will be given priority. Although not required, the intern might have the opportunity (if interested) to work directly with community members on certain projects and serve on the board as a Youth Advisor.
