Gould Farm is a unique therapeutic setting located in Monterey, Massachusetts where staff and guests live and work together. Our maple syrup operation, working farm, organic dairy, roadside café and more keep us busy throughout the seasons.

Volunteer Opportunities

Gould Farm offers a rare opportunity for volunteers interns from around the world to participate in the life of this special community. Experienced, mature and sensitive individuals interested in helping people with mental illness rebuild their lives may apply for one of a variety of positions in areas that include clinical, residential, farm, forestry, food services, maintenance and administration. Flexibility is essential. Volunteer commitments are generally for a year (some summer positions may also be available) and the Farm provides room and board, a stipend, health insurance and other benefits as well as supervision by a senior staff member.
