Mission

FODfest, Inc. is a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization whose mission is to strengthen, empower, and educate communities through the universal language of music.

FODfest produces free, publicly accessible concerts, school programs, and multimedia productions that promote its community-building mission with an interest in serving underserved areas and communities where there is a history of conflict. FODfest 2010 includes concerts and school programs throughout the US, Israel, and Palestine.

Founded in 2005 by musician, writer, and producer Todd Mack, a close friend and former band mate of Danny’s, FODfest has grown considerably from its humble beginnings as an informal backyard jam to a full-fledged internationally touring organization. To date, FODfest has visited more than 50 communities across the globe, featured nearly 750 musicians, and has reached thousands of people from broad demographic backgrounds. FODfest events that take place during the month of October are registered events of Daniel Pearl World Music Days.

Interested students should email (emclaughlin@simons-rock.edu) or bring their resume to Quincy McLaughlin in the Win Commons.
