The Anthropological Index of the Royal Anthropological Institute. The index is based on the journal holdings of The Anthropology Library at the The British Museum (formerly Museum of Mankind) which receives periodicals in all branches of anthropology, from academic institutions and publishers around the world.

The ever-ambitious Google’s attempt to index “scholarly” information on the web. Not exhaustive or entirely reliable (the project is still in development), but worth a try if you’ve drawn a blank everywhere else. Note that many of the articles indexed require payment for viewing (though you can usually obtain the article citation for free). More database info.
